Manoj Kumar.P. was bornwas born on May 10, 1973. His father was T.G. Parameswaran Nair and mother is Sarojini Amma. His primary education is upto 9th.

He learned Maddalam Diploma of 4 years and PG of 2 years in Kalanilayam from 1987 to 1993. Has practised  under the famous artists like Kalamandalam Easwara Warrier and Kalamandalam Natarajan etc.

Has participated in many Kathakali performances all around Kerala. He got 'Pallippuram Gopalan Nair Smaraka Award'.

Family: Family consists of him and his mother.
