Nedumpally Ram Mohan was born in Nedumpally Mana, Sreekrishnapuram, Palakkad District. He had passed BSc Degree (Mathematics) and BEd Degree (Mathematics).

He learned Kathakali from his childhood itself, for 8 years under Kalamandalam Soman. His first performance was on 1986. Has learned Kathakali Music under his father, Nedumpally Narayanan Namboothiri. Then he did his higher studies in Kathakali Music under Kalamandalam Sreekumar in 'Gurukula' style. He studied Classical Music under Kurussathamanna Krishnan Namboothiri.

Is performing Kathakali Music for last 10 years in many stages all around India.
